The Role 

In this independent and senior role, you will be responsible for the design, availability, and performance of the Cerba Research infrastructure and its security posture. You will play a pivotal role within our team of System Engineers, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Infrastructure. We are looking for an expert who can elevate our team and drive our infrastructure forward.

Your Key Responsibilities & activities:

• Coordinating daily maintenance and security activities.
• Proactively managing IT partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Leading and coordinating projects aimed at improving and expanding our system and security environment.
• Maintaining thorough records of all work carried out.
• Preparing and managing system documentation and KPI reports for senior management.
• Overseeing daily inspection and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
• Coordinating security monitoring efforts with external Security Operations Centers (SOC).
• Co-responsibility for the architecture of our server and network infrastructure.
• Being available outside office hours for emergencies.
